A few days after the birth of Kaelyn, Sasha and I got married. Myke flew down at the last minute to attend, and flew back first thing the next morning. He was incredibly sleep deprived, but he was so happy for us, it didn’t matter. I’m so thankful he felt our wedding was a priority, that he made such an effort at such an important time in his life. He continued to be one of the most important resources for our marriage – someone Sasha could talk to, get sound advice – until the last moments. He was a friend, a confidant, a voice of reason, and a moral compass unlike anyone I’ve ever met.
